I am a widow.  I've lost my place to live. I need money to rent a U-Haul and pay for the gas to fill it so I can move to my son's house up north.  He cannot afford to help me, and I would not ask it of him, even though he would help if he could. I am also $5000 in debt -- but not from needless spending -- unlike another woman who asked for help on-line.  Much of mine comes from bills accummulated in my past marriage.  And even though some were in my late husband's name, the bill collectors are coming after me -- simply because I was his wife.
